Laparoscopic cholecystectomy finitium

Here I am!  It’s amazing really – I arrived at the SPA (surgical procedure area) at 5:30am and was in the car…minus one stone containing gallbladder….by 10:30 am.  Four tiny incisions sealed with bright purple surgical super glue are the only testimony to the operation.

I feel pretty good – a little discomfort from the belly button incision, but mostly my back is stiff from being in bed all day and all night.  I think I’ll sit in my newly sparkling dining room (turns out surgery inspires my husband to deep clean!).  The maple tree outside the window looks something like this…

Both of my kids are off of school today and tomorrow so I’m all set for personal assistance 🙂

Thanks so much for all the lovely good wishes.  Temporary discomfort aside, I think I can feel some energy returning already!

Lovely to hear that all went well! And what a beautiful tree! There’s nothing like maple leaves 🙂

So glad everything went well – and without much discomfort. Sounds pretty much like I experienced it, too. Isn’t it amazing what they can do with just a few incisions, a tiny camera and a surgical knife? Nonetheless, hope you still get a bit of rest. Don’t let on to the nearest and dearest how good you feel 😇 Recuperate and rest.

Good to hear all when well for you. Remember to take it easy and let your family take care of you. It amazing how much this surgery has come. My mom had a big scar across her stomach and me like you 5 little incisions. I was to spent the night in the hosptial but got to go home due to my kind doctor, I had not seen my husband and he was going back to school 2 hours away and I would not see him till the next weekend.

Sorry for the delay, so glad it all went well and quick and hope you are recovering in peace 🙂 Don’t rush to do anything soon and give yourself and your body time to chill as inside it does need to time to get back to activity 🙂

Lovely autumn colours outside! Hope you spent a good weekend and that you’ll feel much much better going forward 🙂 Hugs!
