I have maybe the coolest (or could be hottest) “Richard Armitage meets Classical Tradition” post cooking, but I can’t do it because…


Grading.  Five sections, 100 students times one too many assignments = ⇑See Above⇑

Now, the students in the crowd are now doubt saying something like, “You know, there is an easy solution to your current plight that you might have enacted in January.”  Yeah, I get it – assign less, grade less.  Freaking life long commitment to academic arete bites me again.

If you don’t hear from me by Tuesday…send in the cavalry….they should look like this:

      I seem to require something along the lines of solitary confinement, since even housework looks better to me at the moment…

        LOL. I don’t have to grade, but I sure can find a lot of busy work to avoid dictating charts. Toilet cleaning, here I come!

          same here, it started when i has to study for exams or do above mentioned assignments, my place was never cleaner or my food more elaborate 😉

    Whenever i get grumpy about yet another report i have to write or some more documentation i think back on the stacks of papers to grade … sometimes i feel better and sometimes i don’t 😉

    You don’t want that cavalry really, you wouldn’t get any grading done at all!
